Juntos Consulting LLC (“Juntos”) recognizes that its customers, visitors and users, want to know what's up with privacy. Juntos provides this Privacy Policy to help you make an informed decision about whether to use or continue using ShowUp (the “Service”). If you do not agree to our practices, please do not use the ShowUp.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the ShowUp Terms of Service. Your use of the ShowUp and any personal information you provide remains subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Please note that any Status Submissions or other content posted at the direction or discretion of users of the ShowUp Service becomes published content and is not considered personally identifiable information subject to this Privacy Policy.

ShowUp will NOT share your personal information with third parties. We may use your email address to communicate important information with you about updates to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, major releases and other Juntos product offerings.

When you register, you provide some private information (name, email address, phone number) that you may not want to be shared with strangers. Only those users who have you on their friends list will be able to access this information. Your friends list will only be accessible from your account. No other user will be able to see your list.

ShowUp does not share attendance status to others who are not connected to or were not also invited to a specific outing/event. This information is only accessible through the app, meaning only registered users who were also invited to a specific event would have access to your attendance status of that specific event.

There are different ways others could end up on your friends list.
On registration, in the onboarding experience, as well as the contacts page itself, ShowUp asks for permission to find contacts from your address book who have registered with ShowUp. If you opt in ShowUp automatically adds them to your friends list. The information from users on your friends list is managed by that user through their account.

If you are sent an invite along with somebody who isn’t currently on your friends list, you’re able to see that person’s name, but do not have access to their profile (ie, access to other personal information). You both however, have the ability to add one another as a friend. If one person adds the other as a friend via the interface, it results in both parties having each other on their friends list.

If you are a member of a given group, and that group has members who are not currently part of your friends list, you’re able to access those members’ personal information such as email address and phone number. You are also able to add those members as friends which will result in both parties having each other on their friends list.

ShowUp finds people from your address who are currently ShowUp members by matching phone numbers. Once it finds those users, ShowUp adds the user to your friends list with the information that the user provided when he/she registered with ShowUp, meaning that NO data from your address book is stored in our database.

Your phone contacts are displayed within the ShowUp application. This information is NOT stored in our database and could only be accessed by YOU on your device.

In the event that ShowUp is acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the (hopefully) unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how your personal information is treated, transferred, or used.

This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically and this will be reflected by the "effective date" above. Please revisit this page to stay aware of any changes. Your continued use of ShowUp constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any amendments.
